The History of Nexa1

Nexa1 has been in business since 2004, serving Fruita, Grand Junction, the Grand Valley, and beyond. With the merger of Alpha Dog Systems and Capstone Consulting, we have decades of computer experience and customer service experience. We are here to help you with your business IT needs.

Our computer experience goes back to 1982. Things have changed a lot since those early days, but we do our best to stay on top of the latest trends and technologies. We are always working to improve.

As we tell our customers: Customer happiness is our number one metric. If you’re not happy, we’ve done something wrong and we’d like the opportunity to make it right. We have hundreds of happy customers, and we’d like you to be one too.

What do we do?

Nexa1 offers subscription-based IT support. Don’t have your own IT department? No problem! We are a Managed Services Provider. For a flat monthly rate, we can take care of your computers, networks and associated technical devices. Never worry about the technical side of your business again.

We take care of your technology, so you can take care of your business.

Meet the Nexa1 Leadership Team

Andrea Gatley

Andrea Gatley

Owner - Chief Executive Officer

Andrea is a mother of four and a grandmother of eight… and a lifelong computer geek. She loves to help people get the most out of their computers and technology. “It’s a hobby that got horribly out of control,” is how she describes how she got into the computer business. She got her first computer while she was serving in the US Navy, and it became an obsession almost immediately.

She has worked in the computer industry for nearly thirty years, including leading the tech department at Staples in Grants Pass, Oregon. She has worked for Apple Computers and CompUSA and has been working for the past twenty or so years helping people in their homes and businesses with their technology problems.

You can reach her at (970) 639-0699 during regular business hours… but if it’s an emergency, leave a message! She’s always ready to help out after hours if you need her.

Brian Gatley

Brian Gatley

Owner - Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Brian received his first computer at age 8, and he was hooked. Within a week, he was programming in basic, playing games, and generally spending every available minute inside a computer. He studied computer science at Mesa State College, and began building his own computers nearly 20 years ago.

He also enjoys music, photography, and the company of friends and family.

You can contact Brian directly at (970) 639-0633 during regular business hours.

Ronald Conlin

Ronald Conlin

Client Executive

After the realization set in that he wasn’t going to make it as a rock star, Ron set out to distinguish himself in the IT field. He spent 11 years on the customer side of the table with roles in Operations and Systems Programming before joining the dark side (vendor).

For more than 15 years, he has been helping clients in a broad variety of industries achieve measurable business outcomes through technology.  He is passionate about meeting new clients and helping them solve problems and both financially and technically.

When he’s not working for Nexa1, you will most likely find him tent camping with his wife and friends or tackling a new hike. He still enjoys playing electric guitar and spends as much time as he can afford practicing (just in case that rock star opportunity opens up).

He is a proud dad to five wonderful kids, two serving in our nation’s armed services, and is active in their church and community.
