Turn read aloud on or off in Outlook

  1. Select File > Options > Ease of Access.
  2. Under Application display options, select or clear the Show Read Aloud checkbox.Ease of access page with Show Read Aloud highlighted

Let Outlook read your messages to you

  1. Select a message.
  2. From the Home menu, select Read Aloud.Read Aloud button

Word

Let Word read your document to you

  1. Open a document.
  2. Place the cursor at the beginning of the passage you want Word to read aloud. If you want to read the whole document aloud, place the cursor at the beginning of the document.

  3. Select Review Read Aloud.Read Aloud button
